Static City still glows. Millions once lived in its endless towers, and now only a few thousand remain, scattered across a skyline that no longer remembers their names. The world is in permanent lockdown—not because the air is poison or the dead walk, but because the government no longer trusts people. Wars ended the world is it was known, when you were just a baby. It was decided long ago that humans were no longer to be trusted with any type of freedom. But life, stubborn and curious, keeps finding its way out into the rain-slicked streets.

You are one of the quiet residents of the High-Rise 3, living almost at the top of a decaying high-rise with a balcony that overlooks a drowned sea of neon. It's grungy, industrial, and somehow yours. Outside your door waits a city of secret night markets, sneaky rooftop trades, and neighbors who whisper through the walls. Here, quiet domesticity and little rebellions exist side by side—a hot cup of synthetic tea, a smuggled packet of real coffee, a debt owed, a friendship forming in the dark.

This is a slice-of-life cyberpunk apocalypse, with some humour and mature comedy. There's no grand mission, no world to save. There is only money to earn, inventory to manage, and a small cast of stubborn, funny, complicated people to know. Make the right trade, avoid the watchers, keep your secrets, and maybe you'll carve out something that feels like a life. Get caught, and the consequences will follow you home.
